Ingredients
- 4 thick slices challah or brioche
- 4 large eggs
- ⅔ cup half-and-half
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 2 tsp orange zest
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 4 tbsp butter, melted
- Cooking spray
Instructions
Mix: In a bowl, combine eggs, half-and-half, cornstarch, powdered sugar, orange zest, cinnamon and melted butter until smooth
Prepare: Lightly spray air fryer basket with cooking spray
Dip: Soak each bread slice in the egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off
Cook: Air fry at 400°F / 204°C for 4 minutes, then flip and cook 4 more minutes until golden brown
Serve: Top with a dusting of powdered sugar and warm maple syrup
