Ingredients
- Refrigerated pie crust
- Pie filling of choice
- 1 large egg
- Water
- Coarse sugar for topping
Instructions
Prepare: Preheat air fryer to 350°F / 176°C. Using a round cutter, cut pie crust into 3.5-inch circles.
Assemble: Place 1 tbsp of filling in center of half the dough circles. Lightly brush edges with water.
Form: Cover filled circles with remaining dough. Press edges firmly with fork tines to seal.
Finish: Brush tops with beaten egg wash and sprinkle with coarse sugar.
Cook: Air fry for 6-7 minutes until pastry is golden brown and flaky.
Serve: Allow to cool slightly before enjoying.
