Ingredients
- 1 bunch kale, stemmed and torn into large pieces
- 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- ½ cup finely grated Parmesan
- salt & pepper, to taste
- Optional seasonings (everything bagel, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, or garlic powder)
Instructions
Prep: Remove kale stems and tear leaves into large pieces. Thoroughly dry the leaves.
Season: In a large bowl, drizzle kale with olive oil and lemon juice. Massage the leaves gently to ensure even coating. Sprinkle with Parmesan, salt, pepper and any optional seasonings.
Air Fry: Place kale in air fryer basket in a single layer, avoiding overlap. Air fry at 350°F / 176°C for 3-5 minutes until edges begin to brown but before they burn.
Cool: Immediately transfer chips to a baking sheet in a single layer. They will continue to crisp as they cool.
Note: Work in batches if needed - overcrowding will prevent proper crisping.
