Ingredients
- 2 tsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Instructions
Prep: Pound chicken breasts to even thickness under plastic wrap using a rolling pin or meat mallet.
Brine: Optional but recommended - sprinkle chicken with salt and refrigerate uncovered for 30 mins to 24 hours.
Season: Mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper. Coat chicken with olive oil and seasoning mixture.
Air Fry: Place chicken smooth side down and cook at 375°F / 190°C for 6 minutes.
Flip: Turn chicken over and continue cooking 2-8 minutes until internal temperature reaches 155-160°F or 68-71°C.
Rest: Let chicken rest covered for 5-10 minutes before slicing to retain juices.
Note: Total cooking time varies by chicken size - 8 minutes for smaller breasts, up to 14+ minutes for larger pieces.
