Ingredients
- 6 chicken drumsticks
- Baking powder
- Curry powder
- Kashmiri chili powder
- Garlic powder
- Sugar and salt
- Olive oil
- Fresh cilantro
- Cucumber, yogurt, herbs
- Ground spices
Instructions
Prepare: Combine baking powder with curry powder, chili powder, garlic powder, sugar and salt. Thoroughly pat drumsticks dry with paper towels.
Season: Coat chicken pieces evenly with spice mixture, then drizzle and rub with olive oil.
Air Fry: Place in air fryer basket and cook at 400°F / 204°C for 10 minutes. Flip drumsticks and continue cooking 7-10 minutes until skin is crispy and internal temperature reaches 165°F or 74°C.
Prepare Dip: While chicken cooks, combine grated cucumber with yogurt, fresh herbs and ground spices to make raita.
Serve: Transfer drumsticks to serving plate, garnish generously with fresh cilantro and serve alongside raita dip.
