Ingredients
- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1¾ tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp baking powder
- 1½ tsp olive oil
- Optional seasonings (lemon-pepper, za'atar, or miso-ginger)
Instructions
Prep: Mix salt, pepper and baking powder. Pat chicken dry and rub with mixture. Place in fridge uncovered for 1-24 hours.
Season: Remove from fridge and brush with olive oil. Add optional seasonings if desired.
Cook: Place in air fryer basket skin-side down and cook at 400°F / 204°C for 12 minutes.
Finish: Carefully flip thighs skin-side up and continue cooking 6-8 minutes until internal temperature reaches 175°F or 79°C.
Rest: Remove from air fryer and let rest for 10 minutes before serving for juiciest results.
